About Me

Evangelist Ukina Sanford-Foster was born and raised in San Francisco, CA.   Evangelist Foster holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Masters of Science degree in Physiology from San Francisco State University and is currently employed as Senior Research Scientist at UCSF.  Evangelist Foster was raised in the church since birth, and made a serious commitment to Christ at the age of 22.  She accepted her call to ministry in 2001 under the leadership of Superintendent LeVon Bell and was licensed as an Evangelist after training and examination in the Nor Cal Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under the leadership of Bishop Jerry Wayne Macklin.

In 2012 Evangelist Ukina Sanford-Foster was joined in marriage to Pastor Larry Jetton Jr. who later became the Senior Pastor of the historic First Union Missionary Baptist Church of SF, until his passing in August 2018.  Evangelist Foster served as First Lady, an Associate Minister, Dean of Christian Education, praise and worship leader, bible study and Sunday school teacher at First Union.

In 2021 the Lord saw fit to divinely join Evangelist Ukina with Pastor Richard Foster.  Both Pastor and Evangelist Foster understand marriage with over 36yrs of experience between the both of them after suffering great loss through the transition of their late spouses. The Fosters have 6 adult offspring and 4 grandchildren.  The Fosters  created the "The Foster Chronicles" to put on display the joy of marriage by having a good balance naturally and spiritually.

Evangelist Ukina Foster works along side her husband in ministry at The Lily of the Valley Christian Center Oakland, CA under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop Anthony Willis. In 2023 in obedience to God Evangelist Foster established Impactful Outreach Ministry Inc. a non-profit organization whose mission is impactful, reach, resources, results, and reciprocation. Evangelist Foster is known and highly respected among various denominations,  her calling has allowed her to proclaim the word of God and sing in churches throughout the Bay Area and out of State.  Evangelist Ukina Sanford-Foster shares biblical insight at various ministries and speaks into the lives of all ages and backgrounds.
